What are Sober companions & Case MANAGEMENT services?

SOBER COMPANION:

A sober companion is a trained professional who provides one-on-one support to individuals who are in recovery from substance abuse or addiction. Sober companions typically work with clients who have recently completed a treatment program and are transitioning back into their daily lives, or with individuals who are struggling to maintain their sobriety in their current environment.

Sober companions can provide a variety of services, including accompanying clients to appointments and events, helping them to establish and maintain a sober support network, and providing emotional support and guidance as they navigate the challenges of early recovery.

CASE MANAGEMENT:

Case managers are professionals who coordinate and oversee the delivery of healthcare and social services to individuals, families, and communities. In the context of addiction treatment and recovery, case managers may work with clients to develop treatment plans, coordinate care with healthcare providers and other service providers, and provide ongoing support as clients work towards their recovery goals. Case managers may also assist clients with accessing resources and services, such as housing, transportation, and financial assistance, to help them achieve stability and success in their recovery journey.
